The Mission of the Carmel High School dance company is to bring professional dance to the community while teaching its members advanced dance technique and fundamentals of stage performance.
By bringing dance to the community, CHSDC is enriching the lives of both the audience and the performers. Founded with the help of the Regional Occupational Program, the CHS Dance Company also aims to provide students with skills that will enhance a career in arts.
The Company is managed primarily by the students, and the Company will be hosting and maintaining its own web site through Carmel High School. By exposing students to the broad range of organizational and professional skills needed to succeed in the arts, we hope to keep the arts in the future for our youth.
The Carmel High School Dance Company has the following performances coming up in January and May 2007.
January 5th A preview performance of the Winter dance concert at 11:45-12:15 in the CMS gym.
